Constance Carmen Mercurio was born on December 31, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois to her loving parents, Father, Gaetano and Mother Rosaria Sirna.
She passed peacefully at the age of 95 on Friday June 24, 2022, in Temecula, California.
Constance lived in Chicago for the first 16 years of her life, then her family which included her two Brothers Joe and Sam and Sister Francis moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Constance attended and graduated from John Hay High School. Constance married the love of her life John Mercurio on June 23, 1948. She continued to live in Cleveland, Ohio over 40 years. Her family relocated to Southern California in 1979.
Constance prioritized her family, and her family was her pride and joy. She also enjoyed being social, and belonged to the Italian American Club, and loved to travel. Her favorite places she loved to visit were Italy and Aruba.
Constance is survived by her children: Pam (Dennis) Voll, Annette (Rick) Scherer, John (Bobbie) Mercurio. Grandchildren: Michael (Kayc) and Ricky (Mandy). Great- Grandchildren: Drew, Ethan, Joey, and Michael. Brother: Joe Sirna. Nieces and Nephews: Serena Wagner, Danny Wagner, Tom Sirna, Patty Sirna, Paula Occhinero, Michael Occhinero, Serena Strazzanti, Sara Miller, Brian Miller, Vince Sirna, Irene Sirna, Felice Tupper, Sam Strazzanti and Nikki Strazzanti. Aunt: Theresa.
Constance is proceeded in death by her Husband John Mercurio in 1984; siblings Sam Sirna, and Francis Strazzanti, other family: Paul Strazzanti, Joey Strazzanti and aunt Chris.
